Yes, I actually drew a crew! (Well, a fireman at least. And he bears a strong resemblance to And trust me that wasn't intentional XD.)
Anyway, I was drawing this without a tender and I realized I really didn't have room for a bunker. I figured there isn't enough room for any amount of wood at all in the cab, so I added a tender. I thought it'd be cool to make it a removable tender for some reason, so I did. Then I had to come up with something to letter it for and a plausable reason for the seperable tender. It works on a steel mill railroad owned by the Kalamazoo Ironworks in Kalamazoo, MI. It's a woodburner because of timber resources. The tender is used on runs between the steel mill and ore mines when the fuel is needed. When running in the mill it isn't used and the cab is stacked high with wood. This is so that it takes up less room so it fits in tighter spaces. The crew usually stacks up some wood on an idler flatcar when one's there to save running to get more and leave some breathing room in the cab. The locomotive isn't even 10 feet tall, this is because of a low mine tipple that the locomotive must run underneath.
Also, looking at this again, I have to ask... is the boiler much larger than the smokebox?
I didn't think what happens under there XD
Very lice Prarie ya' got here!
